NDUGA - The Infantry Battalion Task Force (Satgas Yonif) 503/Mayangkara, a key unit under the HABEMA Operations Command, continues its mission to safeguard the RI-PNG border while delivering essential health services to the local communities in Nduga Regency, Papua. On Saturday, February 8, 2025, the Yonif 503/Mayangkara Mobile Border Security Task Force provided free medical treatment to residents at the Batu Border Post, Krepkuri District, Nduga Regency, Papua.
The medical team at Batu Border Post is always on standby, ready to serve those in need. On this occasion, Praka Adil and Prada Rico, the post’s dedicated medics, welcomed the arrival of locals seeking medical attention. Among them was Reona, a resident who came to the post complaining of fever and body aches.
"Thank you, Mr. TNI, for examining me and giving me medicine, " said Reona, expressing her gratitude for the care she received.
The health and well-being of the local population remain a top priority for the Yonif 503/Mayangkara Task Force. Their services extend beyond the post, as TNI personnel regularly visit villages to provide medical assistance directly to those in need.

"The initiative of Task Force Yonif 503/Mayangkara to provide comprehensive healthcare services at the Batu Border Post is a testament to TNI’s commitment to supporting basic community needs. This effort plays a crucial role in accelerating development in Papua, " said HABEMA Commander, Major General TNI Lucky Avianto, following a report on the activities.
